Redundant and Phase Combined Configurations
Paradise Datacom’s series of redundant amplifier systems provide the highest degree of earth station redundancy and reliability. Based on Paradise Datacom’s family of rugged and robust SSPAs, these systems provide the highest MTBF’s possible.
These systems can be configured in either 1:1 or 1:2 redundant configurations using any of the Paradise Datacom family of SSPAs. While all Teledyne Paradise Datacom SSPAs are capable of internal 1:1 or 1:2 control, the RCP2-1100/1200 Redundant System Controller provides an extremely user friendly interface for complete monitor and control of the high power amplifiers in either 1:1 or 1:2 configurations.
Phase Combined amplifier systems can be configured using any combination of Paradise Datacom’s amplifiers. 1:1 Phase Combined Systems are an economical solution to providing high output power capability with soft-fail redundancy. 1:2 Phase Combined Systems can provide full output power redundancy to mission critical applications which cannot tolerate any decrease in output power capability. Phase Combined systems require the addition of an FPRC-1100/1200 System Controller.
